From San Donà di piave with the bicycle we will follow an old branch of the Piave and we will quickly reach the river Sile, the river of Treviso, which will accompany us along the entire route. A superlative boat experience in the lagoon at sunset, so dear to Hemingway, with a stop in a quaint b & b.
It starts again along the lagoon to Altino, an ancient Roman settlement of the 2nd century AD. where there is a visit to the museum and to the excavations (area accessible to the public). It starts again following the embankment of the nearby river until you reach a hotel booked for the night.
We set off again along the greenway to Treviso passing through Casale s.S., to Casier for a stop at the "ponte dei burci", to arrive in Treviso for a visit to the painted town of the "Tiramisù".
From Treviso and for comfortable country roads you reach Venice, where we find a hotel for the night.
From the hotel we start by bike to Venice historic center to get to the ferry that takes us to the islands of the lagoon, which we will travel in their length and with some ferries will take us to Chioggia, where the minivan will take us back to the starting point.
The bike holiday departs every Tuesday and every Friday of the week.
